The Women's Health Center
Our Women’s Health Center provides in-depth information on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care of conditions that affect women of all ages. This center will help you be more aware of the steps you can take to stay healthy, and the options you have when you need medical services.

Meet Our Providers
Dennis R. Johnson, MD
Dr.Johnson has been in the gynecological/obstetrical field in the York since 1982.
He specializes in the areas of infertility and menopause.

William M. Unwin, MD
Dr. Unwin began practicing obstetrics/gynecology in 1989. His particular interests are
in premenopausal and menopausal health care, as well as osteoporosis,
laparoscopic surgery and infertility.

Kathryn K. Hassinger, MD
Dr. Hassinger has been caring for women at the Women's Healthcare Group ever
since she completed her residency in 1989. She enjoys every aspect of obstetrics and
gynecology.

John J. Lawrence, MD
Dr. Lawrence completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1993. One of
his special interests is in urogynecology, a subspecialty of gynecology that specifically
deals with bladder dysfunction in women.

Meg K. Figdore, MD
Dr. Figdore has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology with the Women's
Healthcare Group since 1997. She enjoys coordinating patient care with our midwives,
as well as caring for women through all phases
of their lives.

Wendy P. Davis, MD
Dr. Davis received her MD from Howard University College of Medicine in 2002, and
completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at York Hospital in 2007.
Her special interest is in urogynecology.

Felicia Rohrbaugh, MSN, CNM
Felicia truly loves what she does and enjoys taking care of women and being involved
in their lives. Prior to becoming a midwife in 1992, she had 10 years of labor and
delivery experience as a registered nurse.

Deborah A. Brown, MSN, CNM
Deborah enjoys caring for teens and first time mothers. She also loves teaching
women's health. She became a midwife in 2002 after 17 years of experience as a
labor and delivery nurse, childbirth educator and clinical director.

Carol L. Landry, MSN, CNM
Carol has been a certified nurse midwife since 1998; prior to obtaining her
certification, she was an RN in Labor and Delivery for 5 years. Carol specializes in
gynecology and teen pregnancy. Carol is also certified in neonatal resuscitation
and is trained to first assist for cesarean sections.

Holly A. Shearer, MSN, CRNP
Holly has been a family nurse practitioner since 1998. She received her Master of
Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from Widener University.
She was previously employed as a family nurse practitioner in Adams County providing
primary care for individuals of all age.

Janet L. Ashby, MSN, CRNPP
Janet received her Master of Science and WHNP certification from the University of
Maryland. She has over 19 years of experience working in labor and delivery, the
neonatal intensive care unit, and as a nursing educator.
